Fiona Macintosh
My lifelong passion for helping others led me to found More than Motivation, where I focus on helping small business owners overcome the challenges of growing in a way that helps them, their people and their communities thrive.
With over 30 years of leadership experience, including leading a team of adult volunteers in a uniformed youth organisation, managing a team of carers for my disabled son, and 18 years of teaching experience at UHI North Highland College, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge and insight to my work.
I am committed to lifelong learning. While my degree is in technology, I have expanded my expertise through qualifications such as a Postgraduate Certificate in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing, a CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness, and the Do Workplace Health Right programme with the inspiring Amy McKeown. I have also participated in the transformational Scottish Rural Leadership Programme, further enhancing my ability to lead and inspire change.
As an Accredited Licensed Motivational Maps practitioner, an Accredited 'The Liberator' practitioner, a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and a member of both the Association for Coaching and the International Stress Management Association, I take a comprehensive approach to helping individuals and organisations achieve their goals.
I am particularly passionate about supporting small business owners in growing themselves, their people, and their businesses. My courses provide practical tools, strategies, and insights designed to foster high-performing teams, create thriving workplaces, and promote sustainable success and wellbeing.
